Michelle Mynx has been pole dancing since 1999, when pole dancing was still virtually unknown and she worked incredibly hard to develop and help create not only her signature moves and doubles tricks but also many classic tricks and spins we all love today with nothing but sheer will power, imagination, determination, and passion on her side. She has won multiple exotic dance and pole dancing awards over the years. She has been a featured performer and instructor at many wonderful pole events such as Dance Wicked for a Week in Jamaica, The Michigan Pole and Air Festival, and the Great Midwest Pole Dance Competition, just to name a few.
Michelle also has a great passion for teaching this amazing art form to others. Teaching since 2006, she opened up her very own studio, The Michelle Mynx Academy of Pole Dance in 2010 and has a large arsenal of loyal students and performers. This October will mark the 7th year for her annual student and guest showcase, The Mynx Acrobatic Pole Dancing Extravaganza, which has raised nearly $10,000 to date for The Sexual Assualt Victim’s Unit of Call For Help
